The Grand Opening of the Mannington 4-H Club Cabin was held on Saturday, June 27, 2009. The cabin was given the name "Mannington Marriott". BowersThe Mannington 4-H Club formed has formed a
partnership with the Marion County Technical Center (MCTC) to build a
second cabin at the camp. This cabin would replace two dilapidated
cabins at the camp and reuse any salvageable materials. Thanks to a grant from the George W. Bowers Family Charitable Trust, the MCTC began constructing the second cabin in the fall of 2009. On January 21, Simonton Windows donated 6 windows to help support this effort. In February 2010, Winfield's Right Combination 4-H Club began restoring the Winfield Cabin at the camp.
